The Adventure Continues...

Hey Guys!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. There was a few internet problems over here, so I didn't have much time. It's been pretty fun so far. My cousin's daughter, Janavi, has been a lot of fun during the time I have been here. She's a little over a year old. I have a picture of her posted on this post.
But, the bad side is that it is currently the raining season and it has been raining a lot. But, it's all good because there's a lot to do at home.
There are many shops along the main road, where we went shopping a few days ago. It's a nice place to take a walk, but it's very busy and it is necessary to watch out for cars.
So, that's all that I can think of right now. Haha I should be sleeping right now, so if I think of anything else to talk about, I will definitely post again soon.

Talk to you guys later!

The Adventure GETS CRAZY!

Yesterday was pretty interesting. We went around Bombay for a while. After getting back, a man from the airlines brought my luggage, which is good news. After taking a nap, we went to Inorbit (the awesome mall from the last post) to see an Indian movie called Sivaji - The Boss, featuring an old, famous, but energetic and hilarious actor named Rajnikanth. The movie was completely booked the previous day and the next day. The movie has made a big hit also in London.
On the way back from the mall, a flood hit the area and the roads were completely flooded. We took a taxi, specifically called an auto rickshaw, and the water almost started coming in. On top of that, the engine stopped twice in the middle of the water. This was scary and cool at the same time.
Today, I visited an Indian college called the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT). We walked around the campus and I had the opportunity to look at one of the labs in the chemistry department, where they had high-tech equipment.

In India

So, I didn't receive my luggage and we went shopping yesterday to buy clothes and other stuff. This area is very crowded and busy, but the shopping mall is awesome (called Inorbit). There are a lot of stuff in that mall. I will be spending time there later on during the week and I will definitely write about it.
My cousin's daughter, who is a little over a year old, is funny and mischievous. She has been great company for me during the last 48 hours. The way she acts and tries to imitate people is hilarious. But, she likes to put anything up and throw it, which is her mischievous part.
I am very excited about the days to come and I tell you about my awesome adventure.

India Flight Trip

It was tiring because of a flight change. Initially, I was supposed to take the flight from New York JFK airport straight to Bombay. But, my route was changed from Detroit to Amsterdam, then Bombay.
Since I was traveling by myself, I had to be escorted to each place by an agent. At Detroit, they had this room where kids would hang out while they wait for their flights. My wait was like 5 hours because of that flight cancellation and change. There were kids there that were around 6. I was amazed that they were brave enough to travel US.
What was funny during my 2nd flight was that 2 passengers were late to get to the airplane, so they threw out their luggage and we left without them.

Ok then. I will update you guys more later.
